Chancellor's Office (open to any)

Pugna sat at her desk, shuffling some papers around, and tapping them on the wooden structure to even them out. She checked her watch- right on schedule.

She stretched her arms into the air, releasing a long yawn, before cuddling her body back into the comfy desk chair she purchased a few months ago, when she was elected chancellor. She grabbed her custom-made mug and took a sip of a warm beverage she had sent her secretary to get just moments ago. In all honesty she had no idea what it was.

Boredom set in within the next few minutes, and Pugna pushed herself out of her chair and stepped over to a wide window that covered a wall within her office. The many buildings and ever changing traffic always gave Pugna a sense of excitement.

She again checked her watch, and then let out a small sigh. Within the next few minutes her official day would begin and various people would be stepping in and out of her office, rambling on about this and that. But, Pugna seemed to enjoy listening to this and that, it was all in a day's work. She enjoyed her position in the Republic, and enjoyed the support she recieved from the people. She was not yet used to the daily routine, but soon enough she would become acostumed to the crazy life of a chancellor...

Master Betulia walked into the largest building of the entire planet of Coruscant, the senate building. He had only brought his Shoto Lightsaber and his usual Black VibroSword in case of trouble, he was here to talk to the new Supreme Chancellor about feelings towards the recently revived Army of Light and if she would join forces with them to drive back the forces of the Dark, The Sith. When he finally got to her office, he knocked on the door.

After knocking on her door, he waited for her to allow him entrance to her office; whilst he waited he searched the building once more with the force to see if there were any agents of the dark side hiding in the building, to his luck, there was no more evil than that of the politicians who wanted their own agenda's approved by the senate.

Pugna answered the door and she wasn't surprised to see the Grand Master of the Jedi himself standing at the door.

"Wlecome, Master Jedi." she said as happily as she could in the dark times.

She already had a generic idea as to why the Jedi Master was at her office. "If you are here about the Sith there isn't much I can do. Everything must be passed through the Senate, I can only lead them to vote in one direction- that is, unless..." she began, stopping herself and giving the Jedi Master a moment to speak.

Pugna knew she had a lot in store for her. Her life would very soon be turned upside down. If the Jedi were asking for her support, wouldn't the Sith too come seeking the aid of the Republic?

“Hello Madam Chancellor” Nicholas said to the greeting that the Chancellor gave him, he then heard her as she said she talked about how her power is not enough to help them against the Sith, but only to persuade others. Nicholas then said “I did come here for that, and that vote can mean much.” Nicholas then heard as she came to an abrupt end to the speech.

“Whats the unless ma'am?” Nicholas then waited for her to finish her thought to him, he would greatly need the Republics help to fight the Sith Menace.

"Oh, that's me babling off about things unreleated." she spoke, "Now tell me what you came here for." she said, looking straight at the Jedi.

She truly had no idea why else the Jedi might have entered her office. If it wasn't about the battle against the Sith, then what was it about? Pugna suddenly felt her body become overcome with nervouness due to the thought that the Jedi might bring up another crisis.
