	☼ Byss Byss was a planet in the Deep Core, near the center of the galaxy, discovered no earlier than 45 BBY. A local day lasted 31 standard hours, and a local year lasted 207 standard days. It was the endpoint of the Byss Run. Byss itself was somewhat of a myth, seeming to be the perfect place to live. Its eerie blue-green glow, caused by its sun, also added to the strangeness of the world. Despite this outward appearance, however, Emperor Palpatine's dark side energies were everywhere, corrupting not only the inhabitants, but the planet itself. Byss was the secret throne world of Palpatine and the location of his towering Imperial Citadel. He also kept his secret supply of clone bodies there. 	☼ Foerost Foerost is a Deep Core world on the Koros Trunk Line between Kuar and Kaikielius. It is orbited by the Foerost Shipyards, which was one of the Republic's largest and oldest shipyards. The shipyards' engineers removed raw materials from the planet and transported them to the shipyards in high orbit. It is covered with heavy machinery and robots. It is a very large trade Planet. 	☼ Kamino Kamino, called Planet of Storms was the watery world where the Clone Army for the Galactic Republic was created, as well as the Kamino Home Fleet. It was inhabited by a race of tall, elegant beings called the Kaminoans, who kept to themselves and were known for their cloning technology. 	☼ Tython It is on this world that the brightest and best philosophers, priests, and warriors come together to discuss their discoveries involving the enigmatic, mystical Ashla. Dissidents who used the Bogan eventually arose, sparking the Force Wars of Tython. From the ashes of these wars arose the early Jedi, whose Jedi Forge initiation ceremony led to the invention of lightsabers after they faced threats from beyond Tython. ☼ The Deep Core Worlds

Hidden within the densely packed mass of stars at the very heart of the galaxy, the Deep Core (also known as the Deep Galactic Core or Core Systems) was a small region that hid unusual worlds. The Deep Core was home to the galaxy's oldest stars, at its center was a black hole surrounded by antimatter and dense star clusters. Due to the gravitational pull of the vast number of stars, local space-time was severely warped, making hyperspace travel difficult at best.
