	☼ The Core Worlds (10 sub-boards) The Core Worlds are the known worlds, or planetary systems, that are near the core of the Star Wars galaxy. The core worlds are the richest, most populated worlds in the Star Wars Galaxy, and it was the Core Worlds that first formed the Old Republic. Coruscant is by far the most important of the Core worlds and is said to be the source of the first humans. 	☼ The Deep Core Worlds (4 sub-boards) Hidden within the densely packed mass of stars at the very heart of the galaxy, the Deep Core (also known as the Deep Galactic Core or Core Systems) was a small region that hid unusual worlds. The Deep Core was home to the galaxy's oldest stars, at its center was a black hole surrounded by antimatter and dense star clusters. Due to the gravitational pull of the vast number of stars, local space-time was severely warped, making hyperspace travel difficult at best. Moderator: †Darth Talon†	0	0
	☼ The Inner Rim Worlds (5 sub-boards) It was originally just called "The Rim" when settled 20,100 BBY. It was expected to be the farthest extent of the known Galaxy for centuries, but the Expanded Rim (later renamed the Expansion Region) was opened within a hundred years of the Inner Rim. 21 BBY, during the Clone Wars, the 4th Constitutional Amendment gave Galactic Republic worlds in the Core, Colonies, and Inner Rim more voting power than worlds in the Expansion Region and beyond. 	☼ The Mid Rim Worlds (3 sub-boards) The Mid Rim, also known as the Mid-Rim or Mid-systems, was located between the Expansion Region and the Outer Rim Territories in the galaxy. With fewer natural resources—and therefore a smaller population—than many neighboring regions, the Mid Rim was a territory where residents worked hard for everything they had. Several planets built up impressive economies, and pirate raiders often hid in the relatively unexplored spaces far from major trade routes. Moderator: †Darth Talon†	0	0
	☼ The Outer Rim Worlds (7 sub-boards) The Outer Rim Territories, simply known as the Outer Rim, were located outside the Mid Rim. The Outer Rim was the last widely settled expanse of the galaxy before Wild Space and the Unknown Regions. It was strewn with obscure worlds, and rugged, primitive frontier planets. 	☼ The Hyperlanes (5 sub-boards) Hyperlanes were routes through space in which a spaceship could safely travel without colliding with a body in space, or some other phenomena such as a black hole. There were about eight major routes in the galaxy, with hundreds of secondary routes and thousands of minor ones. Scouting new hyperspace routes was an incredibly dangerous task for an explorer. In many parts of the galaxy hyperlanes also involved periodic re-entry into realspace. This was so as to manually maneuver the ship towards the next hyper-point. It was in these spots that pirate raids were common. The Galactic Empire and other governments often sought to lessen this threat by constructing deep-space platforms at hyper-points. 	☼ Realspace Realspace referred to the universe as viewed from an observer traveling slower than the speed of light. Made up mostly of the hard vacuum that existed between stars, planets, and other interstellar bodies, it was the dimension within which Humans and nearly all other inhabitants of the galaxy lived. Other distinct dimensions were: hyperspace, through which starships could travel faster than light and otherspace, the home dimension of the Charon species. Realspace was usually referred to simply as space by those living within it. Travelling in particularly isolated areas of space known as deepspace for extended periods of time led to the condition known as deepsick which caused mental and emotional breakdown.
